KOGI DEPUTY GOV. SALIFU APPOINTED CHAIRMAN, STATE HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
By Abah Benjamin Eneojoh Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has appointed his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, as the Chairman of the Kogi State Human Capital Development Council (HCDC). According to a statement by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. Mrs. Arike Folashade AyoAde, Lokoja today 26-11-2024, the appointment follows the reconstitution of the Human Capital Development Council in accordance with established guidelines. Other members appointed to the council include the Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Ashiru Asiwaju Idris; Commissioner of Health, Doctor Adams Adeiza Abdulzeez; and Commissioner of Education, Wemi Jones. Also appointed are Anyebe Aridaojo Monday; Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Fatima Momoh; Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development; and Doctor Danni Abdullahi Ozomata, who will serve as the Focal Person Secretary of the Council. These appointments take immediate effect.
