Highlighting the strides made by the Kogi government and the rich cultural heritage of Kogi Central, the Permanent Secretary of the Kogi State Ministry of Information and Communications, Ebenezer Adurodija, urged members of the Kogi Central Media Practitioners Association (KOCEMPA) to actively promote the state government’s policies and programs to the citizens.
During a courtesy visit to his office, Adurodija emphasized the crucial role that the media association plays in sensitizing the public about the current administration’s efforts to deliver democracy’s dividends under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership.
Recognizing the association’s long-standing presence, Adurodija expressed satisfaction with its restructuring for enhanced performance, emphasizing the need for strategic planning to achieve greater success.
He underscored the association’s vital role in promoting government initiatives, urging members to demonstrate financial commitment to propel the association towards its vision and mission.
Regarding the proposed National Media Summit in January 2025, Adurodija recommended the immediate establishment of a high-powered committee to plan and execute the conference effectively.
In response, the association’s president, Alhaji Ibrahim Isa-Amoka, commended the appointment of Mr. Ebenezer Adurodija, expressing confidence in his ability to excel based on his experience.
