Hon. Abanika Taiye, the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, presided over the mini handing over ceremony. He emphasized the importance of providing security in all government facilities across the state, as well as ensuring the safety of the people.
The fencing of Kogi Fashion Hub (KEDA) in Okene is part of this initiative to secure the facility and prevent vandalism by invaders and hoodlums. The Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has shown great leadership in spearheading this groundbreaking project.
The Commissioner expressed gratitude to the Governor for entrusting them with the responsibility to provide security. He also thanked the Permanent Secretary, Directors of the Ministry, and the Contractor’s representative for their support.
The project is expected to be completed within 16 weeks (four months), with strict adherence to all specifications. The Permanent Secretary, ESV(Dr) Obadaki Zainab ANIVS RVS, presented the project notes to the contractor, emphasizing the importance of meeting all conditions to prove the Governor’s vision right.
In response, the Contractor expressed appreciation to the Governor, Commissioner, and Permanent Secretary for the opportunity given to them. They pledged to deliver the project successfully and uphold the standards set forth.
