The Permanent Secretary and the entire staff of the Ministry of information and Communications have commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for breaking and setting new record in unveiling and implementing N72,500 Naira as the new minimum wage for the civil servants in the state. This commendation was made while the new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Ebenezer Adurodija, had a general meeting with the staff. Mr Adurodija charged the management and staff of the Ministry to give their maximum cooperation and support noting that commitment, diligence, punctuality and dedication to official duties are means of giving back to His Excellency for his love and welfare towards the civil servants, encouraging the staff and citizenry to continue to pray for more wisdom for Governor Ododo. Speaking further, the Permanent Secretary assured the staff of a robust welfare and conducive working environment courtesy of Governor Ododo as the Executive Governor of the state and Hon. Kingsley Fanwo as the Commissioner of the Ministry revealing that the Ministry had purchased a 2.2 solar powered generator to switch to in the absence of AEDC power supply in order to ensure and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
