The Forum of Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo, on media and publicity, have reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to their official duties.
They disclosed that the state is currently undergoing revolutionary and transformative developments in the media sector, and thus their resolve ro be more dedicated to contributing to the State’s progress.
This commitment was emphasized during a meeting with the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, at his office in Lokoja.
During the meeting, Hon. Commissioner Fanwo urged the appointees to be meticulous, diligent, and professional in carrying out their responsibilities.
He stressed the importance of projecting the state’s image to the world and commended Governor Ododo for his dedication to revolutionizing various sectors in the state.
Following the meeting, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Information and Communications, Hon Jacob Edi, highlighted that the appointees within the forum have agreed to work together to achieve the common goal of promoting the state’s image.
He said the meeting which marked a significant milestone in the state’s history, was well thought out and should serve as a rallying point for performances of their various duties.
Mr. Edi also praised Governor Ododo for his substantial investment in the information sector, noting that Radio Kogi would soon operate 24 hours a day due to the procurement of necessary equipment by the State Government.
The recent high-level meeting, convened by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, addressed various issues related to information management.
The appointees are a team of dedicated professionals committed to advancing the state’s media sector.
