Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, the Commissioner for Information and Communications in Kogi State, delivered a powerful message to civil servants, urging them to exhibit diligence in their official duties.

He emphasized the importance of commitment, dedication, hard work, innovation, and resourcefulness in achieving the goals set forth by His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo’s consolidation and continuity agenda.

During a valedictory session/sent forth program for Mr. Teddy Adegbola, the outgoing Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications, as well as four other Directors, Hon. Fanwo praised Mr. Adegbola for his exceptional service.

He highlighted Mr. Adegbola’s wealth of knowledge and experience, describing him as the best Permanent Secretary he has worked with since assuming office as Commissioner.

Hon. Fanwo emphasized his collaborative leadership style, which involves working closely with individuals, assigning responsibilities, and encouraging them to perform at their best.

He credited Mr. Adegbola for his guidance as the Chief Accounting Officer of the Ministry, noting his proactive and dynamic approach, wisdom in decision-making, and unparalleled sense of accountability.

Hon. Fanwo challenged all Directors and staff to consider their legacy and strive for excellence in their roles.

He emphasized the importance of professionalism, technical expertise, and a commitment to service, as exemplified by Mr. Adegbola and the other Directors being honoured.

He congratulated the four other Directors being recognized, acknowledging their invaluable contributions during their tenure. The event served as a reminder of the dedication and hard work required of civil servants to uphold the standards of excellence set by the Kogi State government.
