The State Commissioner for Commerce & Industry, Hon. Muhammed Muktar Shuaibu, has praised the State Government and the Ministry of Information & Communication for consistently providing support to Information Officers.
Hon. Shuaibu expressed his appreciation for the recent award presented to exceptional officers by the Hon. Commissioner of Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo.
Describing Hon. Fanwo as a pillar of strength for the Ministry of Information, Hon. Shuaibu highlighted his wealth of experience and willingness to share knowledge with others.
“Hon. Kingsley Fanwo is a respected colleague known for his expertise in various aspects of Information, likely stemming from his extensive background in media,” he disclosed.
It is evident that H.E, Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, made an excellent decision in re-appointing him as the Commissioner for Information, recognizing his suitability for the role.
“Initiatives like the Governor Ododo Monthly Media Award deserve recognition, and I commend him, the Ministry of Information & Communication, and the State Government for endorsing such initiatives”, he noted.
Hon. Shuaibu also praised all Information Officers, congratulating the winners and emphasizing the importance of this award in nurturing individual talent and acknowledging their hard work.
Information Officer, Taiye Bayode, highlighted the significance of the Media Awards in showcasing the Government’s support for its Officers and fostering healthy competition among them.
