Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, has reiterated the importance of patience in nation-building and called on the people of Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole to rally behind their leaders.

He described democracy as a system that empowers citizens to choose their representatives, emphasizing its significance as a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

Hon. Fanwo extends his warm congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the esteemed citizens of Kogi State on the occasion of Democracy Day.

The Commissioner expressed his heartfelt felicitations during a conversation with journalists to mark this significant day.

Hon. Fanwo urged all citizens to embrace patriotism, uphold the law, and foster unity regardless of their political, ethnic, or religious affiliations.

He emphasized the importance of rejecting divisive politics and coming together as one cohesive community.

While acknowledging that Nigeria may still have progress to make, Hon. Fanwo highlighted the gradual but steady development taking place.

He encouraged unwavering support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, recognizing the sacrifices made by past heroes to bring the nation to its current state.

Hon. Fanwo emphasized the collective responsibility of all citizens to contribute towards building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria, worthy of emulation by other nations.

He stressed the need for unity and collaboration to honor the legacy of those who fought for the country’s freedom.
