Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has called on the residents of the state, regardless of their political affiliations, to unite with his administration in advancing the state.
During a reception held in celebration of his victory at the Supreme Court, Ododo emphasized the abundance of mineral resources in Kogi State, highlighting the need for unity and support to fully harness these potentials for the benefit of the state.
“I urge everyone to come together to develop Kogi State. This state is our home, and it is rich in mineral resources. I implore all individuals to rally behind my administration in order to better serve the state,” stated Ododo.
As a member of the APC, Governor Ododo emphasized the party’s commitment to development and welcomed advice from all quarters.
He stressed the importance of cooperation and support to propel the state towards becoming a model for others in the country.
Furthermore, Governor Ododo called on Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu in his efforts to revitalize the nation’s economy and alleviate the hardships faced by its citizens.
Acknowledging the groundwork laid by former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Ododo expressed his dedication to understanding the needs of the people and vowed to prioritize the welfare of Kogi State residents.
In conclusion, APC Chairman Abdullahi Bello urged Governor Ododo to demonstrate magnanimity in his victory at the Supreme Court by welcoming back members who had previously left the party.
