The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Salami Momodu Ozigi Deedat has successfully quelled an impending crisis emanating between the Anika Bogiri clan in Adavi and the Adavi Land Trustee over issues of ownership and transactions on land in some parts of Adavi Local Government Area, as the activities of the Land Trustee had started to breed discontentment in the community.

In a similar development, the crisis between the Taaru Idu of Iriku, HRH Oricha Asipita S. Akuvada and the Kingmakers was tabled with both the royal father and the Kingmakers presenting their cases in a most civil manner.

The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs meticulously administered both matters and all parties were pleased with the peaceful resolution.

The Ohi of Adavi and Chairman, Adavi Traditional Council,HRH, Mohammed Ireyi Bello and the Asema of Anika, HRH Abubakar Onogu commended the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his leadership style and strategic resolution of conflicts and commended the Commissioner for bearing the torch of peace always.
