Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Mr. Elijah Evinemi FCA, commends Governor Ododo’s commitment to staff welfare.
During a recent meeting with the leadership of the Nigeria Civil Service Union, Mr. Elijah reiterated the Governor’s dedication to the well-being of Civil servants in Kogi State. He praised the Governor for promptly approving and implementing the new minimum wage, pension harmonization, and Health Insurance Scheme for pensioners.
Mr. Elijah expressed gratitude for the support of the trade union in these initiatives and encouraged all Kogi State workers to mirror the Governor’s commitment by approaching their work with diligence and sincerity.
The Chairman of the Nigeria Civil Service Union, Kogi State Chapter, Comrade Sheidu Ali, lauded Governor Ododo as a compassionate leader dedicated to improving the lives of the people. He highlighted the Governor’s achievements in enhancing salaries, pensions, gratuities, and ongoing infrastructure projects in the state.
Comrade Sheidu Ali thanked the Governor for promptly paying the new minimum wage to civil servants and commended Mr. Elijah for his proactive efforts in ensuring the success of these initiatives.
