A collection of Kogi State youths has donated one hundred million Naira for the presidential nomination form of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections

Presenting the cheque to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo said Youths in Kogi State are happy with his quality leadership, hence the resolve and prompt action.

Alhaji Ahmed said Youths of Kogi State came together during the Kogi APC Youth rally for the endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Usman and himself with a resolution to collectively put funds together and purchase nomination form for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come Twenty Twenty Seven general elections in the Country.

Governor Ododo said his administration is Youth friendly, stressing that their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was not a surprise based on his Commitment to the growth and progress of Youths in Kogi State.

The Governor called on the Youths in Kogi State to continue in their support for the current administration in the Country, emphasizing that the only reward for hard work is to reelect the President for another term in office.

Speaking on behalf of the Youths in Kogi State, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Aridaojo Monday Anyebe said he was pleased to be part of the development that reflects the growing political consciousness and civic engagement of the young people in Kogi State.

Honourable Aridaojo Monday Anyebe said the contribution which was formally presented at the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja was to show the President that Kogi Youths had no alternative.

He said the delegation was led by His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and received by the party’s National Chairman, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, noting that it was a symbolic engagement.

The Commissioner said the initiative was driven by young people across communities who came together through voluntary contributions and organized fund raising, adding that their action reflects participation, conviction, and a willingness to engage meaningfully in the democratic process.

Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe disclosed that as youths take greater interest in national development and political decision-making, the moment also demonstrates the evolving role of young citizens in shaping the direction of the Country’s democracy.

Earlier, while receiving the cheque on behalf of Mr. President, the Party’s National Chairman, Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, described the guesture as a welcome development to the party.

The National APC Chairman called on other Youths in the Country to emulate the Youth in Kogi State towards enhancing the progress of the party.

He commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his fatherly role and promised to deliver the message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of his re-election come Twenty Twenty Seven.
