
The newly appointed Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Hajiya Falilat Yusuf Musa, Esq., has formally assumed office, pledging to consolidate on the solid foundation laid by her predecessor while steering the Civil Service towards greater efficiency, professionalism and excellence.
Speaking shortly after assuming duty, Hajiya Musa reaffirmed her commitment to sustaining ongoing reforms, with renewed emphasis on the welfare and wellbeing of civil servants, noting that a motivated workforce remains indispensable to effective and responsive service delivery.
She expressed deep appreciation to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, for his visionary leadership and inclusive governance philosophy, particularly his deliberate commitment to promoting women’s participation in leadership and decision-making process across the state.
The new Head of Service further described the Civil Service as the engine room of government, responsible for policy formulation and implementation, and assured of her resolve to boost staff morale while strengthening institutional efficiency and effectiveness in alignment with the development agenda of the present administration.
