The Kogi State Government, in partnership with Frozia Enterprise, has officially launched the highly anticipated Kogi Buy & Sell Trade Fair, a four-day event designed to stimulate economic growth, support local businesses, and establish Kogi State as a commercial hub in Nigeria.
Taking place at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre in Lokoja, the trade fair has attracted a diverse range of businesses, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders eager to showcase their products and services to attendees.
This event serves as a precursor to an International Trade Fair scheduled for 2025, reflecting the state government’s long-term vision for sustainable economic development.
During his keynote address, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, represented by the Honorable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Honorable Muhammed Muktar Shuaibu, praised the initiative as a significant achievement for the state. He emphasized the government’s commitment to creating platforms that support entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration.
Hon. Shuaibu described the trade fair as a “model of excellence” that highlights the government’s efforts to position Kogi State as a key player in local and international trade. He emphasized the importance of partnerships and collaborations in achieving the administration’s ambitious goals.
The Commissioner commended Frozia Enterprise for its strategic partnership with the state government, emphasizing the crucial role of such collaborations in realizing the administration’s objectives. He encouraged participants to take advantage of the opportunities presented at the trade fair to expand their networks, strengthen their branding, and explore innovative growth strategies.
