The Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Timothy Ojomah, is urging all residents of Kogi State to take advantage of this year’s Eid El Kabir to pray for continued guidance and wisdom for leaders at both the state and national levels.

In a statement released from his office, the Commissioner emphasised the importance of peace, prosperity, and happiness for the state and its people.

He extended his warm wishes to His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire state on the joyous occasion of Eid el-Kabir.

On this particular day, we are reminded of the values of compassion, generosity, and gratitude fundamental to our faith and work in the agricultural sector.

The Commissioner appreciated His Excellency’s unwavering support and leadership, which have played a crucial role in the state’s achievements and milestones.

“Your vision and dedication to agriculture have provided hope for our farmers, rural communities, and the entire state. Your commitment to food security and sustainable agriculture has motivated us to strive towards a future where everyone can access nutritious food and a decent standard of living.”
