Kogi State contingents have arrived Asaba for the 2025 National Youth Games which is expected to commence tomorrow.
Over one hundred athletes from the Kogi state completed their screening ahead of the competition without issues ahead of the competition.
The National Sports Commission says six thousand, three hundred and eighty-two athletes and officials will take part in the Games.
The event will be held at the Stephen Kechi Stadium Asaba, Delta State, from tomorrow to September sixth.
All the thirty-six states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja are represented after a digital registration process.

The nine-day event will feature thirty-seven sports, including athletics, football, basketball, and other lesser-known games aimed at encouraging participation and talent discovery.
The Commission says the Games are not just about medals, but also about promoting unity, discipline, and resilience among Nigerian youths.
Speaking to journalists to confirm the success of the screening of the members of Kogi State contingents, Director of Kogi State Sports Council, Mr.James Abel Egah said all the athletes have been screened and ready to take part at the events.
Mr. James Able Egah advised the athletes to go for wins to ensure Kogi State is top in all the games at the competition.
