The Kogi State Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, has flagged off the distribution of fertilizer to farmers across the state as part of its wet season farming initiative. This program is aimed at boosting agricultural productivity, enhancing food security, and driving economic growth.
Speaking at the distribution exercise held at the ministry’s warehouse in Felele, the Honorable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Hon. Timothy Ojomah, expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his unwavering support to the agricultural sector.
He was joined by the Accountant General of the state, Hajiya Habibat Onumoko, and the Auditor General of Kogi State, Alhaji Yakubu Okala.
In his remarks, Hon. Ojomah stated
“On behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, I extend our deepest appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to agriculture.
