The 25th delegates and stakeholders symposium of the National Council on Women Affairs and Child Development (NCWACD) of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development took place in a grand style in Edo State.

The programme with the theme, Strengthening Systems and Deepening Social Impact: Advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda for Women, Children, the Families and other Vulnerable Groups is holding at the Festival Hall, Government House, Benin City, Edo State.

The event which was organized by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development is held in collaboration with the Edo State Government with the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim and the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo as co-hosts

The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Acharu Okpanachi led other Directors of the Kogi State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development to the 25th National delegates and stakeholders symposium of the event.

To the delegates from Kogi State, the theme is no longer new to them as it is spelling out the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration of the state under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Among the Directors gracing the event are the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Bilkisu Omeneke Raji, Director, Administration, Mrs. Faith Ibrahim, Director, Child Development, Mrs. Olaniyan Folashade, Director Gender, Mrs.Titilayo Olorunrayetan, Director Women, Mrs Sabdat Mechero and the Director, Planning Research and Statistics, Mr Innah Isaac Husseini.
