Governor Ododo has reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to the well-being and prosperity of every citizen of Kogi State.
The Governor disclosed that under his leadership, government is fully committed to ensuring that the progress and development achieved would be of benefit to all residents of the State.
Following the Eid Kabir prayers at the Okene Central Praying Ground on Sunday, Governor Ododo emphasised the importance of creating a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
He expressed his determination to prevent criminal activities from taking root in Kogi State.
Reflecting on the recent kidnapping incident at Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Governor Ododo commended the swift actions of President Bola Tinubu, security agencies, and local vigilantes in rescuing the abducted students.
He also extended his condolences to the families of the two students who tragically lost their lives.
Governor Ododo urged Muslims to use the Eid-el Kabir celebration for introspection and compassion, emphasising the values of sacrifice, love, and empathy.
He encouraged all Nigerians, especially the people of Kogi State, to support and embrace the policies and initiatives of the President.
In light of the current administration’s challenges, Governor Ododo called for unity and solidarity through prayer.
He expressed confidence in the President’s commitment to improving the people’s lives despite the obstacles encountered.
