Kogi State is Becoming a Construction Hub – Fanwo The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has announced that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is rapidly transforming Kogi into a construction hub. He noted that the state government is prioritizing critical infrastructure to attract top-tier investments. In a statement released on Friday, Fanwo highlighted the growing global recognition of the Ododo administration’s strides in infrastructure development. “In the 21st century, no serious conversation about investment can exclude infrastructure. What draws investors are key factors like reliable infrastructure, robust security, an available workforce, abundant natural resources, and efficient land administration,” Fanwo said. He emphasized that the Ododo administration has declared a state of emergency on infrastructure, with visible progress in the state capital, Lokoja. “The capital city is undergoing a remarkable transformation with improved roads and other infrastructural projects that enhance its aesthetic appeal. However, this development isn’t limited to Lokoja alone. Township roads are being constructed in other urban areas, and rural communities are also benefitting from new road networks, which will greatly support agricultural activities,” he explained.
