Kogi State Commissioner for Education Honorable Wemi Jones on Tuesday inspected the ongoing construction and remodeling of the Government Technical College Oboroke in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State with the assurance that the project would be completed in time for the use of the Students.

The Project which has reached 90% completion is one of the four technical colleges being constructed and remodeled by the Kogi State Government.

Honorable Jones who was conducted round by Engr. Mohammed Ibrahim of Musalib Construction Company stated that the state Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo would ensure the quick completion of the project to boost the study of technical and vocational education in the State.

He stated that all the technical colleges in the State would be remodeled in line with the Federal Government Policy to ensure that students acquire entrepreneurial skills for self sustainance.

The Commissioner urged the contractor to ensure quick completion of the project in line with the contract specifications.

Responding, the project Engineer, Engr. Mohammed Ibrahim promised that the project would be completed in due time and in accordance with the work plan and contract specifications.
