TEAM KOGI HAS WON TEN MEDALS AT THE ON GOING NATIONAL YOUTH GAMES TOURNAMENT IN ASABA DELTA STATE.

      By James Sani Team Kogi has won two silver medals in boxing at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State. Head coach, Ekele Dan Uloko, confirmed this shortly after the match. He said the medals were won by Jamiu Adeniji and Sultan Adeniji. The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, represented by the Director of Sports Development, Paul Aje, praised the athletes for their performance. Hon Aridaojo Monday Anyebe described it as a big improvement from their previous outing. The Commissioner urged the athletes to stay focused and train regularly, assuring them of more government support. In the same vein, coach Uloko congratulated the team and promised more collaboration to help them grow in the sport. So far, Team Kogi has won ten medals at the tournament.
