The Students’ Union Government (SUG) President of the Federal University Lokoja, Comrade Ben Praise, alongside the Senate President of the institution, has paid a courtesy visit to the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo.
During the visit, the student leaders lauded Hon. Fanwo for his outstanding and selfless service to humanity, particularly his remarkable contributions to the growth and development of students in the state.
Hon. Fanwo congratulated Comrade Ben Praise on his election as SUG President and urged him to work closely with the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports to advance youth development in the state.
“We have a Commissioner for Youth and Sports who was once a notable Students’ Union leader. He is a pragmatic leader whose dynamism has inspired many youths to aspire to greatness. I urge you to tap from his wealth of experience and lead with honor and integrity,” Fanwo said.
The Commissioner also noted that the recently signed law restricting the movement of trucks during the day within Lokoja was aimed at safeguarding students, describing it as a promise fulfilled.
