The Kogi State Government, in collaboration with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has reinforced its commitment to youth development within the state. This partnership was prominently showcased during an employer workshop held at the Government House in Lokoja, where Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo was awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence.
Mr. Femi Osungbohun, the NYSC State Coordinator, praised the Governor for his unwavering dedication to the welfare of NYSC members in Kogi State, noting that his performance has been nothing short of impressive. “The NYSC is pleased with his administration,” Mr. Osungbohun remarked.
In his response, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, represented by Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, characterized his administration as youth-friendly and committed to fostering the growth and development of young people in the state. He urged the NYSC to continue its support for his administration’s initiatives aimed at advancing both the state and the corps.
