The newly appointed World Health Organization (WHO) State Coordinator, Dr. Mahmud Seid earlier today, 15th September 2025, visited the Kogi State Ministry of Health, where he was warmly welcomed by the Permanent Secretary on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adams Adeiza Abdulazeez.
During the visit, the Permanent Secretary expressed the Ministry’s sincere appreciation for the WHO’s ongoing support and partnership in enhancing Kogi State’s healthcare systems and improving the overall well-being of its citizens. He assured Dr. Seid of the Ministry’s full cooperation and support in his role, reaffirming the management’s commitment to closely collaborate with him to ensure the successful implementation of WHO programs in the state, particularly within the health sector.
In response, Dr. Seid thanked the Permanent Secretary for the warm reception and committed to working closely with the Ministry to effectively fulfil the WHO’s mandate in Kogi State. He also expressed gratitude to the Honourable Commissioner for Health and the Ministry’s management for their support of his predecessor, emphasizing his eagerness to foster a strong and harmonious relationship with the Kogi State Ministry of Health.
