Kogi State Government has commenced a comprehensive data collection exercise targeting all business owners in the state.

The Managing Director, Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA), Alhaji Muhammed Kadiri Okeji stated this in his office in Lokoja.

He said the development is in line with the vision of the governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, towards intensifying efforts to support and sustain businesses across the state as a catalyst for economic development.

According to him, one of the key mandates of Governor Ododo’s administration is the promotion and empowerment of enterprises, recognizing their critical role in job creation and economic advancement.

He noted that the purpose of the initiative is to gather relevant information that will guide the government in providing targeted support to businesses.

The Managing Director stressed that such support may come in the form of loans, grants, equipment, and other empowerment opportunities saying the data-driven approach underscores government’s commitment to fostering a thriving business environment.

He advised all business owners to participate in the exercise by completing the attached data collection form on
