By Sa'adatu Jumai In an attempt to significantly reduce the cost of transportation, Kogi State Ministry of Transportation has inaugurated fifty CNG tricycles donated by the Federal Government. Inaugurating the fifty CNG tricycles at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre, Lokoja, the Hon. Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Atuluku Victor Levi said the offer by the Federal Government demonstrates government's genuine commitment to making live better for the people. "The Renewed Hope Initiative of the incumbent President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is highly applaudable", he stated. Hon. Atuluku Victor Levi described the epoch making event as a Sterling accomplishment that depicts a significant step in ongoing efforts of the Federal Government to lower transportation costs, promote cleaner energy alternatives and advance environmental sustainability in the region. The Commissioner extolled the lofty policies of the current administration, stressing that the initiative will positively impact on Kogi people and Nigerians at large. He reiterated the unwavering commitment of the State Government under the Chief Servant, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the transportation sector, noting that under current administration, the sector has witnessed several accomplishments that meaningfully impacts on the lives of the people of the state.
