KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT MOURNS THE DEMISE OF COMRADE ELIAS ATABOR
1. The Kogi State Government has expressed deep shock over the demise of a peace lover and community leader, Comrade Elias Atabor.
2. It is a shame that we lost Comrade Atabor when our administration is making concerted efforts to return lasting peace and security to Omala Local Government Area of the State. He will be sorely missed for his patriotic zeal to promote peace and development in the State.
3. The late Comrade Elias Atabor was a teacher, a sport lover, a youth development enthusiast and a labour leader who dedicated his life and time to the service of his people.
4. Our government is proud of the life he lived, and we urge the youth to learn from the examples left behind by the late Atabor. He exemplified the Kogi spirit of hard work, industry, peace, and dedication to unity and development. He was a detribalised Kogite who understood and promoted the strength of a united Kogi State.
5. Our hearts are with the Elias Atabor family, the people of Agojeju-Odo Community, the people of Omala Local Government Area and Kogites in general. May his soul find eternal rest.
