The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SGS), Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mr. Toyin Dada, her former official driver, who died in a road accident along the Abuja–Lokoja highway today.
Mr. Dada was her first driver upon assumption of duty as Secretary to the Government in 2016. He was 57 years old, married, and blessed with children.
Until his demise, he was widely known for his humility, discipline, and unwavering commitment to duty.
While condoling with the family, the SGS prayed for God’s comfort and strength for those he left behind, acknowledging Mr. Dada’s loyal and dedicated service to the State.
In honour of his memory, the SGS pledged to support the educational pursuit of his children.
Before his death, Mr. Dada had been redeployed as a Vehicle Inspection Officer (V.I.O) at the State Ministry of Transport.
