‎Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, Atuluku Victor Levi presented 2026 budget of the Ministry of Transportation to the Kogi State House Committee on Transportation.

‎He briefed the 8th Assembly on the current state of the proposed and approved construction of the Kogi State International airport situated at Zariaga, indicating that the platform is ready for the next line of action.

‎Responding, the Lawmakers, having scrutinized the budget, member representing Ajaokuta, Abu Jibril affirmed that the defended budget is apt and self explanatory, adding that the Draft Budget Estimates Details Analysis meets the basic requirement for adoption and sustainability.

‎Earlier, the Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Member Representing Omala State Constituency, Umar Yahaya, reiterates the 8th Assembly’s commitment to rejuvenate the transportation sector as part of its constitutional mandate.

‎Speaking to newsmen, immediately after the defense Atuluku Victor stated that the construction of Kogi State International airport is an open secret to all and sundry, noting the current phase of the project, describing it as an unprecedented project.

‎Speaking further, he assured that the successful completion of the project will translate into concrete reality that will benefit the populace of Kogi State and the nation at large.
