Kogi Ministry of Health Presents Projects Vehicle to State Malaria Elimination Programme
By Rotimi Odofin The Kogi State Ministry of Health has officially presented a project vehicle to the State Malaria Elimination Programme as part of the IsDB Live and Livelihood Fund (LLF) initiative During the handover, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Steven Momoh conveyed the vehicle on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Adams Adeiza Abdulazeez. He praised the dedication and hard work of the members of the State Malaria Elimination Programme (SMEP) unit, particularly in their efforts related to malaria elimination activities in the state, with a special emphasis on Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC). The presentation is another significant stride of the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo towards the war against malaria fever in the state and also a boost to the health sector of the state
