The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, over the passing of his beloved father, Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi, who departed this world at the age of 95.
In a condolence message personally issued on Monday, Hon. Fanwo described the late patriarch as a man of noble virtues whose life of humility, integrity, and discipline made him a father figure to many within the community.
According to him: “Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi was a noble man whose life of humility, discipline, and integrity left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was not only a devoted father to his family but also a father figure to many in the community.”
Hon. Fanwo further noted that the exemplary life of the late Alhaji Ijagbemi helped raise a resourceful son in Hon. Asiwaju Idris, who has continued to use his talents and values of humility and discipline to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Kogi State.
“As we mourn his departure, we also celebrate a life well lived and a race well run. May Allah forgive him, admit him into Aljanat Firdaus, and grant Hon. Asiwaju Asiru Idris and the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he prayed.
