*PRESS STATEMENT* KOGI: COUNCIL CHAIR HAILS ODODO’S VISIT, SWIFT ACTION ON SECURITY THREATS The Executive Chairman of Yagba West Local Government Area, Hon. Tosin Olokun, has commended Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his visit to the local government and his prompt, decisive intervention following recent security breaches in the area. Olokun gave the commendation on Friday during a high-level security stakeholders’ meeting held in Odo-Ere, the local government headquarters. Governor Ododo was represented at the meeting by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mr. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, who conveyed the administration’s renewed commitment to restoring peace and stability in Yagba West. The local government chairman appreciated the governor for standing by Yagba West and its people. “We are deeply grateful to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for standing by the people of Yagba West during this trying time. His visit, swift response, logistical support, and reassurance have boosted the morale of our people and strengthened our local security architecture,” Olokun stated.
