Established by Chief Obafemi Awolowo and his wife Hannah Dideolu on November 16, 1949, Nigerian Tribune Newspaper has become a trailblazing media institution in Nigeria.

Governor Ododo praises the publication for its enduring legacy of responsible journalism, fact-based reporting, balance, and objectivity. He emphasizes the importance of responsible journalism in upholding democracy and the rule of law, recognizing Nigerian Tribune Newspaper’s reputation for promoting truth and accountability.
