Speaking through his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, at the coronation of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adewunmi Sunday, the new Olu of Ayetoro-Gbede on Saturday, Governor Ododo vowed that his government will root out kidnappers and bandits terrorizing parts of Kogi West and restore lasting peace across the area. “We are fully aware of the recent activities of kidnappers and bandits in some parts of this zone. Our government is doing everything humanly possible to eliminate these criminals and make our communities safe again,” the Governor said. “However, security is a collective responsibility. I call on all sons and daughters of this land to cooperate with security agencies, report suspicious movements, and expose anyone collaborating with criminals.
