The Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, while in Obangede Yesterday, May 4, 2025, on project inspection received the Staff and Students of College of Nursing Sciences Obangede
During the visit, Governor Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to continuity and consolidation, promising to complete ongoing infrastructural projects on campus.
The governor addressed pressing concerns tendered by the Provost of the College, Mr James Anaza Duro Joseph, including the water shortage, assuring immediate resolution. He also pledged to provide a new transformer to address power challenges, urging the school community to channel their requests through the right channels for prompt execution.
The governor congratulated the new Provost of the school, Mr James Anaza Duro, charging him to be committed to his job.
Governor Ododo, in his words, says, “Those projects you said were initiated by the last administration are my projects, I was part of the last administration. My own goal is to consolidate and continue the project, I am not unaware that those projects are there, ” he said.
The governor promised to do everything humanly possible within his reach to serve everybody sincerely.
He further pledged to commence the water project on the campus through the Ministry of Water Resources and RUWASA.
Alhaji Usman Ododo’s visit has again demonstrated his administration’s dedication to supporting education and healthcare development in Kogi State.
