The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo has charged Senior Special Assistants from Mopamuro to unite for the peace and development of the Local Government Area.
The Commissioner gave the charge while receiving the Senior Special Assistants at his country home in Takete Ide, saying the Local Government Area is primed for progress when political actors are united.
“As people appointed by His Excellency, the Chief Servant of Kogi State to work with him, we owe him a duty to ensure his policies have a direct impact on our people. Our appointment is to assist him reach the grassroots as we are answerable to him and the people of our Local Government Area”, he said.
Fanwo said the Governor is already making huge impacts in the Local Government Area with the Mopa Township Roads reconstruction and the rehabilitation of the Government Day Secondary School, Takete Ide, saying work will soon start at the College of Education (Technical), Mopa as well as other projects.
Earlier in their separate speeches, Hon. Tope Ajayi, the forum spokesperson and Hon. Dennis Komolafe commended the Commissioner for making the Local Government proud at the state level. They also commended the Governor for his special interest in Mopamuro LGA.
Far reaching decisions were taken at the meeting which when implemented, will stir development across Mopamuro Local Government Area.
