By Joe Adama In continuation of assessment of the ongoing Integrated Vaccination Campaign across the state, the Executive Director, Kogi state Primary Health Care Development Agency (KSPHCDA), Doctor Muazu Omeiza Musa paid an unscheduled visit to the West and Central Senatorial Districts. His first point of call was the Palace of the Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Traditional Council, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, where the Executive Director appealed to parents to allow the vaccination of their wards. The Executive Director commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for flagging off the campaign describing him as a governor who does not take lightly issues affecting the health sector. Doctor Muazu Omeiza Musa assured the Royal father of the Agency's commitment to ensuring an exercise that is free of any form of negativity and called for concerted effort at making the immunisation programme a success. While commending the the royal father for his contributions to the success of health programmes in the state, the Executive Director noted that the measles repeller programme needed to be sustained as well as Strengthen the routine immunisation for total eradication to achieve set goals.
