Kogi State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism
Hon. Acharu Okpanachi has been redeployed to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
While handing over to the Acting Permanent Secretary, Hajiya Hauwa Saliu. Hon. Acharu, thanked God for giving her the opportunity to serve
the ministry of culture and tourism. She
appreciate the Chief Servant of Kogi State. His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for believing in her, and prayed for God’s blessings on him to pilot the affairs of the State.
Hon. Acharu Expressed her heart felt appreciation to the management and staff of the ministry of culture and tourism, for the good working relationship she enjoyed. She urged them to extend the same hand of fellowship to her successor even as she leaves.
The Acting Permanent Secretary Hajiya Hauwa Saliu, thanked God for the successful handing over. She commended the Hon. Commissioner for the various achievements recorded in the ministry, through her efforts. She prayed for God’s guidance and protection on her as she resume her new place of primary assignment.
The immediate past Permanent Secretary, Comrade Ojo Ranti, described the Hon. Commissioner as workaholic, straight forward and a humble person.
He advised her to continue to be good,
as this will attract God’s blessings and favour upon her as she journey through life.
Directors from the departments under the ministry, joined their voices with the Acting permanent secretary, to thank God for the life of the Hon. Commissioner.
They expressed their gratitude to her for the achievements the ministry has enjoyed under her leadership.
They wished her God’s blessings, adding that, may God bestow on her, the wisdom to be able to pilot the affairs of the ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. As she face this new tasks.
