The outgoing Head of Civil Service of Kogi State, Dr. Elijah Adeiza Evinemi, FCA, has expressed profound gratitude to the Management and staff of the Office of the Head of Civil Service for their steadfast support and cooperation throughout his tenure, describing them as a formidable, disciplined, and dedicated team committed to the growth and advancement of the Kogi State Civil Service.

Dr. Evinemi made these remarks at a farewell management meeting organised in his honour, where he commended the collective spirit of unity, loyalty, and professionalism displayed by officers and staff. He noted that the milestones and reforms recorded during his time in office were products of teamwork, shared vision, and an unwavering commitment to public service.

According to him, “It is by the grace of God that I was privileged to rise to this height in service. To God Almighty alone be all the glory for granting me the strength, wisdom, and opportunity to serve and to exit the Civil Service peacefully.”

The outgoing Head of Service further enjoined Management and staff to remain resolute in their dedication to the ideals of the Civil Service and to extend their maximum cooperation to the incoming Head of Civil Service, in order to sustain institutional stability, continuity, and progress.

The meeting was marked by deep emotions as Directors and Permanent Secretaries took turns to offer heartfelt prayers and goodwill messages to Dr. Evinemi, wishing him greater accomplishments in his future endeavours. They expressed confidence that his exit would not diminish the robust systems and reforms he put in place, particularly in the areas of staff welfare, continuous capacity building, and human capital development across the Kogi State Civil Service.
