*Kogi State Government Partners with *Center for Management Development for a Three-Day Workshop on Enhancing Service Delivery*

The Kogi State Government, through the Office of the Head of Service, in collaboration with the Center for Management Development (CMD), is set to organize a three-day capacity-building workshop for all Permanent Secretaries in the state.
*Themed : “Enhancing Service Delivery in the 21st Century,”* the workshop will take place from: *Tuesday 4th, March, 2025 to Thursday, 6th,March, 2025 at Edge Drive hotel, Lokoja, Kogi State.*
The workshop aims to strengthen governance, improve efficiency in public service, and equip top government administrators with modern strategies for effective service delivery. The Center for Management Development (CMD), a leading institution in public sector training, will facilitate the sessions, ensuring that participants gain practical insights and innovative solutions for improved governance.

The Kogi State Head of Service, Dr. Elijah A. Evinemi (FCA), emphasized the significance of this initiative, stating that
“The civil service is the engine room of government’s operations, and in today’s rapidly evolving world, we must embrace best practices and technological advancements to enhance efficiency.

This training will provide our Permanent Secretaries with the tools to drive sustainable development and effective governance in Kogi State.”

The workshop will feature keynote addresses, interactive sessions, and expert-led discussions covering key topics.

This initiative reflects His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo (FCA) led administration’s commitment to building a proactive, transparent, and result-driven civil service.
