The Ogori people, an ethnic group residing in Kogi State, Nigeria, boast a rich and distinctive culture that is deeply rooted in their history, communal values, and enduring traditions. Primarily located in Ogori town, which is part of the Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area, this relatively small community has demonstrated remarkable pride and integrity in preserving its cultural heritage.
We are pleased to present the 2025 Ovia Osese Festival, the signature celebration of the Ogori people. This unique festival stands out not only in Kogi State but also across Nigeria, showcasing the vibrant traditions and cultural richness of the Ogori community.
