Kogi Commissioner for Works, Hon. Mohammed Anoui Yusuf, has emphasized the importance of TEC Engineering Company adhering to project specifications to guarantee value for money.
During an inspection tour of the Obangede-Okaito Road, the Commissioner urged the contractors to ensure that they meet the required standards that align with the funds allocated for the project.
Addressing the contractors and the residents of Obangede, the Commissioner promised the timely completion of the project.
He stated, “Today, we are here to fulfill one of our core obligations, which is monitoring and evaluation. The Governor of the state, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, is dedicated to transforming the state, and as his chief messenger, I am committed to ensuring his vision is executed effectively.”
The Commissioner emphasized the importance of road projects in leaving a lasting legacy for the community and facilitating smooth transitions between different areas.
Accompanying the Commissioner on the inspection tour, Kogi State Auditor General of Local Government, Hon. Yakubu Adanenge, commended the Contractor for the quality of work being carried out.
He praised Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the significant progress in infrastructural development and the improvement of the welfare of Kogi workers. He called for continued cooperation to achieve further development in the State.
In response, the contractor assured the Commissioner that the project would be completed on time and in accordance with the specified requirements
