The past six years Kogi State has ushered in Rapids Development under Gov Yahaya Bello which goes to show that the country would be better for it if he moves to a higher office.

This was the remarks of Chief Edward Onoja the State Deputy Governor while on an inspection tour of ongoing projects embarked upon by the present administration within the Lokoja metropolitan area.

The Deputy Governor noted that “If Kogi State has witnessed such a great job of development under Gov Yahaya Bello in six years, Nigeria would be better under his leadership.

Chief Edward Onoja also revealed while inspecting ongoing works at the President Mohammadu Buhari Civic Centre Lokoja; that the Civic Centre which he described as a masterpiece has attained the combination of quality and standard in terms of project execution.

The Deputy Governor explained that what Kogi State is witnessing is a promise fulfilled, pointed out that Gov. Bello had promised to do more in his second term, described the outstanding infrastructure development to a promise fulfilled.

The Deputy Governor maintained that from the ongoing Civic Centre to the Specialist Hospital, Ganaja Flyover Bridge, the GYB Model schools are combination of legacies and Impactful masterpieces.

The Deputy Governor noted that aside providing a befitting places for events and recreation, the Civic Centre remains a big market for revenue generation.

The Deputy Governor described Gov. Bello as a miracle worker urged Nigerians traversing the State to help tell the story that Kogi State is working with the country waiting for Gov. Bello.

He described the Commissioner for Works and Housing as a thorough breed professional who has justified his calling in the field of engineering, appreciated all the manpower.

The Commissioner in his remarks described the President Mohammadu Buhari Civic Centre as an improvement on the eagle square Abuja, saying that the vision of Gov. Bello in making the project a reality
