Fanwo commissions Electronic billboard in Lokoja.

The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications,  Kingsley Fanwo has charged youths to be more industrious, focused and invest in their skills capacity in order to impact positively in the society.

The Commissioner stated this during the commissioning of a private owned  electronic billboard in Lokoja.

Fanwo said, as youths in the social media world, they should always remember to add value to the society rather than tarnishing the image of the nation via social media.

He commended on the project saying it will not only contribute positively to the state, it would also add beauty, values and also attracts foreign investments to the state.

According to him, the electronic billboard will help the government to partner towards  information dissemination that will promote the good work of Governor Yahaya Bellos administration across the state, stressing that  youths should emulate good initiative that would promote the state to compete amongst others.

He advised youths across the state to build more on their skills that will create meaningful impact to their society.

He added that the government own media, Radio Kogi and Graphic Newspaper is opened for partnership so as to encourage  the good initiative of the project to the masses.

Also speaking, the Kogi State Senior Special Adviser on Security Matters,  Commander  Jerry Omodara (Retired) said, to have a digital finding in Kogi for the first time is a welcome development to the state, urging youths to be good Ambassadors.

He said it’s a platform of  empowerment for the youths, adding that the government would continue to value youths that will give back to the society.

He advised youths to emulate the ideas of others that have added values positively in the state.

Responding, the project Director, Mr. Olubiyo Jacob appreciated the Kogi State Government for recognizing the project as a platform that will add values to the state in the area of advert and Info dissemination.

He said, the project is basically a way of given back to the society, stressing  that youths should not depend solely on the government, urging them to find a way in adding values to the state.

He assured the government of good partnership in digitalized information dissemination that would add more impact to the development of the state.
