Be Patriotic; Gov Bello Charges Outgoing Corps Members

His Excellency,the Executive Governor of Kogi State,Alhaji Yahaya Bello today performed the winding up/passing out parade of 2022 Batch ‘A’ Stream 1 Corps members in kogi state at the Confluence Stadium,Lokoja.

Governor Yahaya Bello was represented by the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja at the occasion.

Yahaya Bello charged the out- going Corps members to continue to be partrotic citizens wherever they find themselves even as they go their separate ways.

In his speech, the Governor said that National Youth Service Corps is a veritable ground for National lntergration and Nation building.

He further said that Kogi State Government will continue to strengthen the already existing relationship between the National Youth Service Corps scheme and will also continue to ensure the security and welfare of Corps members posted to the state.

Earlier, the state coodinator, Pastor Mrs Mofoluwaso Adebimpe felicitated with Corps members for the successful completion of the National Service.

She reiterated that the era of seeking white collar jobs is over and therefore admonished them to put to good use the various skills they have been imparted with during their one year service.

Thereafter, the Certificate of National honors was presented to Corps member Emmanuel Ebems by the Hon. Commissioner For Youth and Sports, Hon. Idris Musa.
