The following achievements have been recorded by the Board since its establishment;

• Prudent management of its human, material and financial resources towards ensuring efficient and effective health care services.
• Training and re-training of its personnel through regular training and organized seminars/workshops.
• Regular payments of monthly salaries and allowances as and when due.
• Establishment of 17 Cottage Hospitals and employment of qualified personnel to man them.
• Up grading of five (5) General Hospitals to zonal hospitals which are expected to serve as referral centres to other hospitals in their areas of location. Additional qualified personnel have also been recruited to complement existing staff in these hospitals. The five zonal hospitals are: General Hospitals Ankpa, Dekina, Kabba, Idah, and Okene.
• The board recently took delivery of one NQ Toyota Hilux Van from the State Government to ameliorate its transport problem.
